MY
DEAREST FRIEND
I lost
my dearest friend today,
No finer
could be found.
My love
for you is utmost true,
It has
no endless bound.
So hard
to say,
"Good
bye" to you,
Forever,
trusting friend,
I'll
keep you in my memories,
I promise
till the end.

Happy
was truly everything to us. Not only our pet, our pal, our best friend,
but our child. She taught us what unconditional love meant. She was always
"Happy." Her name fit her to a "Tee!" She was so funny. She always
made us smile and so very happy. She loved everyone. She just loved to
be with us and loved to be cuddled. She was simply terrific and truly the
best. She is sadly missed, but never will be forgotten. We know she is
at peace and we will meet one day. Love Always and Forever,
Wilma
and Mike Donnelly and "Joy" (our Calico Cat)

I
lost my little fur person of 21 years. I did not think it would be this
hard on me, but I was wrong. Each day it gets a little easier. "Paws" was
my best friend for 21 years. This little fur person was the best. Every
day when I would return home, she would greet me with a little roll-over
and a soothing purr. Then she would march to the kitchen and sit by her
treats! I have so many good memories, from bringing
her
home from the pound as the smallest fur-ball. Stopping at the market. Arriving
home to find her fast asleep between a can of string beans and a bag of
marshmallows - to herding on my shoulder when I rode my motorcycle. I never
went very fast! But, my lap is now empty, as I type on the computer and
watch the TV, my lap was her favorite place.
Rest
in peace little friend.
You
are in God's hands now.

Dustin-Bleu,
You
were a cherished gift 18 years ago,
And
remained so until the end.
An accident
from fine lineage,
Your
behavior was more alley cat than pedigree.
You
were my masseuse, therapist, companion
and
enthusiastic comedian.
You
held the key to my heart
and
guarded the front door.
Appearing
to be an attack cat,
but
quick to make friends with all that entered.
I've
acquired new furry friends now,
but
none will ever fill your void.
And,
I'll remember you always until
we meet
again at The Bridge.

What
would I do without you,
My precious
Furry Friend?
Part
mischief, but all blessing,
and
faithful to the end!
You
look at me with eyes of love,
You
never hold a grudge,
You
think I'm far too wonderful
To criticize
or judge.
It seems
your greatest joy in life
Is being
close to me,
I think
God knew how comforting
Your
warm, soft fur would be.
I know
you think you're human,
But
I'm glad it isn't true,
The
world would be a nicer place
If folks
were more like you.
A few
short years are all we have,
One
day we'll have to part,
But
you, my pet, will always have
A place
within my heart.

Sid
was
purchased in 1985 for $40 and a black powder rifle as a gift for my husband
Steve on our 5th Anniversary. He was 3 months old at the time.
His name was Bandit, but when called, he never even looked at us.
One
day, Steve said "Sidney" and immediately he jumped in his lap - so on his
papers, his legal name is "Sidney Will Do."
He
is missed every day and forever will be in our hearts.
