In Loving Memory of
MAGNUM

April 3, 1991 - January 29, 2005
Karlyn
Veltri
Worcester, NY

There
are no words to explain the greatness of my boy. He was welcome
everywhere I went because of how wonderful he was. Everyone that knew
him, loved him. He made each day brighter. He is the only dog I know
that could balance a tennis ball on his nose until you told him to "go
ahead" then he would flip it up and catch it. He didn't fetch sticks,
He fetched logs. Even after he got sick he was still happy to be
with his mommy. I was allowed almost an extra 3 years of this wonderful
boy thanks to an experimental medicine for his Cancer, It helped him
with no side effects. I strongly recommend it for any dog who may
have been diagnosed with cancer. Any dog in need can email me for more
information karlyn@dmcom.net
Mommy
loves you Magnum and life will never be the same without you. I am
thankful to have been loved by you.
Karlyn is sharing the SERVICE of Magnum with you all
to help you with your loss......>>>>>>>>>

MAGNUM'S
SERVICE
The service was so nice. I
received Magnums urn in the mail about 15 minutes
before I was supposed to leave to head down to Long Island for his
service. It is beautiful, the picture on the webpage does not do it
justice, I was impressed with the company, paws2heaven.com. The doggie funeral room where his service was
held was not large, but it was cute. Now picture this... I placed
his urn, a big cherry wood box with a yellow lab figurine on top,
in the middle of the alter, (not sure alter is right word for it but
I'm sure you know what I mean) there was a pedestal on either side, I
had an arrangement of flowers on each pedestal. I made a beautiful
picture board with pictures from puppy- hood to now and I placed that
behind the urn. I had a white candle with an angel on it on either side
of the urn. My friend brought me the cutest yellow lab puppy figure
laying on its back, and I put that up there near him. I had his collar
laid out next to his urn. I had blown up a beautiful 8X10 picture
of the one on the hay that you used and put that next to him. I
had a copy of a few poems laying on the alter next to his urn. My
girlfriend Lori read the Rainbow Bridge. I read the one that I
wrote and my daughter's uncle read "The Last Battle," and it was
beautiful. I played him the songs that I picked out in between
readings. The minister came in and said some prayers, he kept
forgetting Magnum's name and talked more about his deceased dogs, but
that was ok.. I had your cards in a pretty basket next to the signature
mat picture frame that everyone signed. I can't describe all the little
details, but it was so pretty. Mag got a nice service. There were 20
people there. My friends and family brought their dogs...so Magnum had
some doggie relatives there too. My husband got teary eyed when I read
for Magnum because of course I was crying, so everyone showed emotion
for Magnum and said nice things about him. I know it probably all
sounds a bit crazy, and I am sure they thought me a bit off, but they
all came, they all know how much I love this dog and they all loved him
too. . My daughters dad and step mom bought 2 of the flower
arrangements, one for one of the pedestals and also a standing
arrangement, also her step mom who is also a friend really helped me
out with getting the arrangements in order because I was planning from
far away and she picked up the candles too. My daughters older
sister, who lived with me for awhile as a little girl and lived
with Magnum bought the flowers on the other pedestal. Everyone
said it was a really nice ceremony. I feel good about that. At least
that I know Magnum would have been proud of how many people loved him.
Now I can just remember him and grieve for what I lost, now that I know
I gave him a nice "celebration of his life." I cannot say the word
good-bye. I came home and moved all my wedding things out of my curio
cabinet and put all Magnum's things in there, my husband didn't mind,
they are still on display but just not in there. :) I wanted all Mag's
stuff in a safe place. I will miss him every day. I am so happy for the
cards you made because everyone will have one now and think of him
whenever they see it too. He can't be forgotten. You did such a
fantastic job, everyone commented on them. I am going to sing your
praises to anyone I know who loses a pet. Thank you so much Lulu, you
really helped me. If I couldn't find those cards when I thought of it
and placed it in the search engine, the service wouldn't have been
complete, I would've felt so bad that I didn't find them. Thanks
for being so quick to get in contact with me and hurrying with the
order and laying out the extra postage. You were terrific! Thanks so
much. Karlyn

Blessing All
Creatures , Great and Small.
"We
who choose to surround ourselves with lives
even more temporary than our own,
live within a fragile circle,
easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps,
we still would live no other way.
We cherish memory
as the only certain immortality
never fully understanding the necessary plan."

"Molly,
devoted dog and beloved companion,

ALL
CREATURES, GREAT & SMALL
All
things bright and beautiful
All
creatures great and small
All
things wise and wonderful;
The
Lord God made them all.
Each
little flower that opens
Each
little bird that sings,
He
made
their glowing colors,
He
made
their tiny wings.
He
gave
us eyes to see them,
And
lips that we might tell
How
great is God Almighty,
Who
has made all things well.
