In Loving Memory of
Maxx Santo Eastes
January 5, 2010

 (mother) Karen Eastes
Virginia

Maxx Santo Eastes was given to me by Norfolk police Officer David Ireland, August 1995. He was only about 2 or 3 months old. He died on January 5th, 2010.

He was most unique, he never even growled!!  He never had a mean bone in his body. He touched alot of lives. He loved everyone. He would just lean his head on anyone that he came in contact with. He was just the most loveable dog you could ever meet. Above photo is Maxx and I.... having what I called..."Mommy-Maxx time." I used to always sing to him the "You Are My Sunshine" song.

I sang that to him as he was being put to sleep, because he will always be my sunshine on a cloudy day. It was a song I sang to him many times.

His kidneys started shutting down and the vet said there was nothing more we could do that it was time. He was and always will be my world!!!
Thank you, Karen Eastes

I pause for paws!
My child has fur!
***************

You Are My Sunshine
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away

The other night, dear,
As I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms.
When I awoke, dear,
I was mistaken
And I hung my head and cried.

You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.

I'll always love you
And make you happy
If you will only say the same
But if you leave me
To love another
You'll regret it all some day;

You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.

You told me once, dear
You really loved me
And no one else could come between
But now you've left me
And love another
You have shattered all my dreams;

You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.

Louisiana my Louisiana
the place where I was borne.
White fields of cotton
-- green fields clover,
the best fishing
and long tall corn;

You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.

You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.
