no matter how long you may be.
I would miss you so much.
If I went in alone,
It would not be heaven for me.

with those bright dark eyes... 
and the nights when I felt your sweet fluff
against my face on my pillow. 
I think I can see you just round the corner
or under a chair, but it's just memories and shadows . 
I dream everyday about that special time
when I turn around at Heaven's Gate 
and you run to my arms and kiss away my tears. 
Until that time I can only wish that all my tears 
could somehow build a stairway up to heaven
and know that I would run up those stairs
and bring you home again. 
A gift that will always be with me,

Our beloved "Sir Hershey's Shadow"
made his journey to the rainbow bridge 
on January 31, 2001.
It was just two days shy of his sixteenth birthday.
Our hearts are deeply saddened, but we truly 
believe that he waits for us just beyond the bridge.
He is running free in God's front yard.
We love you Hersh Pal!
